In a time which shifts from analogue to digital Studio Roosegaarde creates interactive landscapes which explore the dynamic relation between space, technology and people.
Studio Roosegaarde is the home of artist Daan Roosegaarde. Functioning as an independent artistic laboratory it makes alliances with whizzkids, creative industry and cultural foundations.
Currently interactive landscapes such as 'Dune' are developed; including their own interactive, embedded technologies of software and electronics. Our goal is to create sensual and futuristic landscapes which engage you.
Recent artworks have been presented at Rotterdam City of Architecture 2007, Netherlands Media Art Institute, Tate Modern London and Microwave Hong Kong.
Exhibitions with Studio Roosegaarde
Experience and interaction with visitors is an important element of the projects by Studio Roosegaarde. Therefore the works of art are shown at exhibitions internationally; creating unique site related interactive artworks.
Sculptures such as Dune and Flow 5.0 are perfectly suitable for these events and can be installed internationally by Studio Roosegaarde. Previous exhibitions have been shown in London, Athens, Hong Kong and Amsterdam. Selection of previous exhibitions.

To have an insight in the philosophy and inspirations of our interactive projects creative director Daan Roosegaarde frequently gives lectures. The presentations, filled with photos and movies of the interactive sculptures, will inspire your audience.
Previous lectures have been given at TU Delft, Academy of Fine Arts Enschede, Boymans van Beuningen, City Hall Hong Kong, Triennale Milano and Tate Modern in London.
