The city of Schiedam commissioned artist Daan Roosegaarde to create a new artwork of light for a bicycle tunnel. The artwork will play with existing water and light to give the tunnel a playful and safe experience. Opening in the end of 2014.

The Eindhoven region will receive the first innovative bicycle path in the Netherlands. The 600 metres long bicycle path runs where Vincent van Gogh lived from 1883 to 1885 and will have an unique design comprising thousands of sparkling stones designed by artist Daan Roosegaarde.
