Artwork 'Dune' at Olympics, Vancouver.

This year our interactive artwork Dune will be exhibited at the 2010 Winter Cultural Olympics in Vancouver, as the Dutch entry amongst works by artists such as Rafael Lozano-Hemmer and Janet Cardiff.
In conjunction to the events, Daan Roosegaarde will also be a participant in the CODE Dialogues symposium at the Emily Carr University. The symposium aims to explore how dialogue and participation is generated via technology. Experience it all at CODE Live, February 4-21, Vancouver, CA.

The much anticipated 'Decode: Digital Design Sensations' has opened at the Victoria Albert Museum in London. Both our classic interactive artworks Dune and Flow 5.0 are part of this exhibition which showcases the latest developments in digital and interactive design. It's great to see our 60 meter interactive artwork Dune 4.2 in action. Pedestrians are creating new relations of light: by running our Dune starts to twinkle wildly or, when more people are present, the light of Dune mediates between them. Here Rotterdam's cityscape, technology and people get merged into one sensual experience.

Special Dune publication 'Progressive Realities'

Commissioned by City of Rotterdam we had great opening last week (thank you!) of our public Dune 4.2 with its hundreds of human interactive LED lights alongside the river Maas in Rotterdam.

Situated alongside the historic river Maas and spanning 60 meters, Dune 4.2 is an unique installation composed of hundreds of human interactive LED lights.
