Exploring Liquid Space 6.0

Currently Studio Roosegaarde is working as a dedicated team of designers and whizzkids on our upcoming artwork Liquid Space 6.0. This embryonic monster will be filled with electronics, software, mechanisms and have public, interactive encounters but for now still has to grow.

I am on an island. There is no internet and people play with dogs all the time.
This is Terschelling where Studio Roosegaarde is checking locations to show their latest version of Dune during the multi media festival Oerol. In this raw nature environment our interactive landscape will brighten the minds and senses of the island visitors. Oerol, 13-22 June Terschelling NL.

I am in New York again. This old lady with a mental refresh rate of a day somehow seems to charm you endlessly.

Hungry Spaces

Yesterday I gave a nice evening lecture at UN Studio in Amsterdam. Talking with the architects showed me that our concepts of Dune or Flow will be embedded into the realm of architecture; thats for sure.
At the same time in Studio Roosegaarde we are feeding our upcoming Liquid Space 6.0 with thoughts and technologies; like a strange, hungry animal. Next stop: NY city.

With pleasure Studio Roosegaarde introduces a fresh new interactive project in our series: Liquid Space 6.0. This interactive animal filled with mechanisms, LEDs and embedded electronics will physically interact in relation to human sounds and motion; creating one sensual co-existence.
