Variants are a computer generated series of sculptures which varies from reading cocoon to high-density bookcase. Special developed objects were made for several public libraries in the Netherlands.

Comments:
"Especially for the children in this library a little 'village' was designed which exists out of three object standing in the library. It is a special mix of crazy, funny shapes with unexpected functions.
Every sculpture is CNC-milled based on a parametric 'Topsolid' computermodel which makes each object unique in its form. Currently a large sequence of Variants is being developed." From De Bieb (see links below).
